Since we were meeting up with multiple sets of friends and we needed to fly in and out of France for the wedding in Normandie, we found ourselves in Paris again last summer. I've mentioned a little bit how we weren't super excited to go back to Paris after having visited there 6 months earlier. Maybe because our first visit was in the middle of winter AND the middle of a COVID surge (whoops) but we weren't enamored like we thought we would be.
I'm so glad that logistics pushed us to visit again because after spending several days there in the summer, we were in LOVE! Paris in the summertime is so alive and vibrant. We put in 10-12 miles each day wandering all over the city-- seeing some of the same places again and other neighborhoods for the first time. Our hostel in Montmartre was just perfect (photos found at the bottom)- as was the surrounding area. This post showcases quite a bit of that as well as the Sacre Coeur Basilica and all our wanderings around the 18th Arrondissement.
