community of world changers.

i'm learning not to take so many things for granted & this group would be one of them. as we quickly grew to represent 6 different states covering opposite ends of the country this year, i realized how special our friendships are. it's been different adjusting to life without these friends near, but i'm so grateful that we pick right back up where we left off. snowball/finger rocket fights and all:)

oh christmas tree.

living life with these friends really brings me so much joy! we're a rather ramshackle bunch of people and if you read our group texts you might think we've taken too many happy pills... but thankfully you're seeing our good side in this post so i don't have to explain away our quirks:)

we went to our favorite christmas tree lot  and got there just in time to beat a group of 15 teenagers to the punches on this tree. then we all had a lesson in strapping it to the roof of the car before heading off to get lights (because LO AND BEHOLD, lowe's didn't have any! shameshameshame).

thankful for the lessons we've been learning this advent season and most of all for a savior who humbled himself on our behalf.
