gracious. what a beautiful, abundantly rich week home for thanksgiving this year. 3 months is the longest i've ever gone without my family and goshdangit i miss these hooligans! the chaos of a full house cradles my soul. the girls constantly doing flips & gymnastics across the living room, all sorts of things cooking in the kitchen, noah giving me eskimo kisses and bear hugs every five minutes, adventures with ellyn, long chats with marmie and daddy… so many blessings.
we made gallons of applesauce, played games, ran the drumstick dash for the 5th year in the row (and promptly ran out of gas on the way home), shared an amazing thanksgiving dinner with friends, took family photos in RECORD time, enjoyed our annual dinner at buca de beppo and picked out our christmas tree together. my heart cry was to simply spend time with my family but i also got to slip out and spend time with dear friends and see many of my heart change women. more photos to come in another post but for now, here are our thanksgiving memories. i've said it before- these people are my favorite.
