Portugal 2025 | Amarante & Vila Real Town

 Amarante was aquick pit stop on our drive from Porto to the Douro Valley. It's set on the Tamega River and anchored by the historic Sao Gonzalo Bridge. Its patron saint being linked to love and fertility, phallic-shaped pastries are sold all over the town!

We also made a lunch stop in Vila Real Town and the second half of images are from there! A little bit sleepy on a weekday afternoon but the perfect place for a walk in the sun and a bite to eat.
