You enter into the historic part of San Miguel from the top of a mountain and so our first views of the city through side streets were magnificent! EMYO and I were both practically squealing with excitement as our Uber drive wound us through the steep cobblestone streets and then finally stopped in front of our airbnb. Stepping through the entrance, we found multiple apartments on several terraced levels within. To reach ours at the top, we went up two flights of stairs and through a sunny enclosed courtyard. One more flight of stairs above our unit was a rooftop with a gorgeous view of the city. Once again, the architecture in San Miguel was beautiful but simple & very unassuming on the outside.
I thought I’d have this list of all the fabulous places we discovered ready to share with you but unfortunately, I did a terrible job keeping track of all the fabulous places we discovered but went back and sourced a few.
You really will just have to go explore for yourself;) Hidden gems around EVERY corner. And I mean, EVERY.
Instagram + Apple/Google maps was my go-to for discovering places and really was the only way we knew about a lot of these places because they are so hidden!
