i've had my share of skin troubles through the years... dry, oily, rough, you name it! but i never really wanted to shell out a bunch of $$ to try lots of drugstore products, not to mention i wasn't really intrested in using lots chemicals/namesicouldn'tpronounce on my skin.
through middle school & highschool oily skin days, i had heard that coconut oil was really good for skin- whether dry or oily. really? that seemed like such an oxi-moron. putting oil on already oily skin. but when i finally got the gumption to try it, i found that it's true!
this post won't be full of reasons why these different ingredients are so good for your skin but you can find links to that info at the bottom.
i'm sharing recipes for four different skin scrubs but with this list of ingredients (that you probably already have on hand), you can come up with all kinds of scrubs! keep in mind that a small ammount of scrub (say, a quarter cup) will last you a long time! so you'll probably want to make small batches to keep it fresh!
Add labels to cute jars and these become great little hostess gifts!
