o christmas tree.

ever since we moved to indy, it's been a family tradition to go to a local hardware store & pick out our christmas tree. it used to seem cheap to me that we did it this way rather than going to cut down a tree... but i've come to see how it's perfect for our family. and it isn't so much about where we get our tree as it is about who we're getting it with & the memories that are created. 

our tree also looks different every year due to there being so many opinions under one roof! one year it's a fat tree, another year skinny; one year there are white lights, another year colored; one year there's ribbon, another year there isn't... but despite all the differences, each year we come to agree that *this year's tree* is the best one ever! and it is- it's always perfect for that year:)
