Eleanna | Personal Project '12 | Franklin Portrait Photographer

If you've known me for even just a short time or been following this blog a while, you'll probably know,  among other things, that 1) Eleanna is my kindred spirit & 2) Tennessee is my earthly home. Well during my latest trip back to TN this summer, it came to my attention again that I had never done a photoshoot with Eleanna! She's one of my best friends, we've spent over 3 weeks traveling together & countless weeks hanging out together on my trips back... but never have we managed to squeeze in a shoot! We finally made it happen this time though & I'm so honored that she would model for me! What a stunner!

There was this epic tree in a field around the corner from her family's home. Fabulous location! So in the middle of the afternoon, on one of those blazing hot 100+ degree days where everything crunched underfoot, we tackled this field & came away victorious:) {It may look tame but let me tell you, it was not! Briers & thistles almost as tall as me in between us & where we wanted to shoot}. And as for the heat... it was so hot we didn't really even sweat! But goodness, was it worth it!
Shout-out & thanks to Susannah for assisting & capturing some behind the scenes of me working:)

My goal for the shoot: photograph portraits in direct sunlight

  1. This photo shoot is superb! She's so graceful in person and you captured that in freeze frame. :)
