tutorial: catalogue postcards

all through highschool i collected things cut from magazines & catalogues and then created my own stationary & cards. it was a whole lot of fun & over the years I made/used/gifted several hundred. but now i’m at a place in life where i don’t have the time to sit & cut all those pieces out & put together cards. so i loved when i saw this idea from fossil for making simple postcards from catalogues & magazines. i have a bunch of anthro & fossil catalogues sitting around that are awesome inspiration... but they keep coming & i don’t need them all. i love turning them into something else inspirational.
i adore how these turned out & can’t wait to mail out little notes this summer that let friends know i’m still thinking of them;)
Materials:
catalogues/magazines | card stock | scissors | glue stick | pen/marker
Cut your card stock into 4 x 6 rectangles. Lay one of the cutouts over a magazine/catalogue print & trace. Cut out the print & glue to card stock.
On the back, draw address lines, dividing line, etc. {see below}
Repeat as many times as you like then write & mail some sweet notes:)

  1. Well....there's something I must say. I LOVE postcards. I can't say why. They just speak words to me (hah pun). So course, I LOVE this. I'm gonna have to try!
