Super Bowl Village | Indianapolis | 2012

Indy has gone *all* out for the Superbowl this year and living so close to downtown, we just couldn't miss it! Since most of the out-of-town guests hadn't arrived in Indy yet it was mostly locals when we went-- which meant a *whole* lot of Colts blue!! We went with hopes to ride the zipline down Capitol Ave. but in order to get a ticket you had to stand in line half the day!! I wish we would have thought to pre-order them online a few weeks ago!
Enjoy a look at Super Bowl Village through my eyes-- we didn't even see all of it!

Benj & I were comparing who's shoes were better... then Elisabeth joined... then Ellyn:)

Lots of Colts blue!

Tom Brady look-a-like

ESPN Sports Center hub was set up on PanAm Plaza

Georgia Street

A place to charge your cell phone!!

We found a piece of history;) And I'll never remember to call it Bankers Life Fieldhouse!

Stood in line behind the Ice Gurus!

Elmo headed into St. Elmo's in his Colts gear

 This woman was one of those live statues-- so amazing how long she can stand without moving!!

 This is the "ambulance" for the week since real ambulances couldn't get through all of the people & traffic

All the streets in Super Bowl Village have duplicate names for the week-- all NFL team names.
A little rugby on the Capitol Ave. turf

THE zipline!!! ahhhh!! and yes, that guy IS riding it upside down!
 A peak at the NFL Experience in the convention center

{p.s. of course I'm cheering for the Giants on game day! this is Manning country after all!}
