Rosette Tutorial

This particular rosette isn't the greatest example of what one should look like... because I don't have the whole make.something.and.take.pictures.at.the.same.time. thing down. But that doesn't really matter because each one turns out differently and it's all about experimenting with your own until you acheive the desired affect. Whether you use wide or narrow material, a long or short length, or fold the fabric tightly or loosely... they all produce a slightly different look. {as you can see with mine}

To start out with, you'll need:
material 1"-2" wide & as long as you'd like--1 1/2-2 ft. is usually good {ribbon, fabric, lace, rick-rack...}
needle and thread {its best to use a thread that matches your material so the stitches don't show}
{optional} buttons, beads,feathers.... for attaching to the finished rosette

Okay y'all. I just realized that this tutorial might be a bit confusing... I'm not great at writing them!-- and there are obviously some typos.
So sorry!  If you are having trouble with any of the steps, please let me know and I'll answer any questions you have.
And send me pictures!! I love to see the amazing stuff y'all come up with!!

{and huge thanks to Eleanna who showed me how to make a rosette in the first place!}
