san antonio | take two

six years ago we made the trek from Indiana to San Antonio for Micah's graduation from boot camp. this time we made the slightly shorter trip from Memphis to watch Jonathan's own graduation! a whirlwind trip for sure but definitely worth getting to pile into an Airbnb for a few nights with family! the morning we left we stopped by a local donut shop that is known for it's breakfast tacos and fueled up for the drive north. I loved getting to snap a few photos while we were there because it took me back to when I used to carry my camera around with me everywhere several years ago:) enjoy the recap!

We stopped in Austin for dinner on our way to San Antonio a few weeks ago and took a little walk around the Barton Springs neighborhood to stretch our legs. We were looking for something quick to eat and stumbled across a fun little food truck park called The Picnic! Four Brothers has delicious Arepas and Empanadas though we quickly realized that fried food on such a hot day probably wasn't the best choice! We saw so many places that are already drawing me back!

On our way back north a few days later, we stopped in Austin again, this time in the South Congress neighborhood. Another hot (Texas hot, y'all!) day made walking around a little miserable but we loved almost every little shop and eatery we stumbled upon! Definitely worth a revisit in the future!
