Amalfi Coast | Positano, Italy
Maybe you're like me and this scene always made you think of Cinque Terre on the northern coast of Italy but little did I know that Positano is THE dreamy, colorful cliff scape of the Italian Coast! We skipped the Hike of the Gods this day and instead spent hours exploring Positano's little alleyways and that was truly the best decision! Even though it was very overcast, the colors were still evident at every turn. One thing I've noticed as a photographer is that the majority of images we view when we google places like Positano or Cinque Terre have been edited dramatically to make them seem more vibrant and the colors more saturated. If you've viewed those images prior to actually visiting the location, reality can feel a little dull. So I've done my best to portray colors as I actually saw them-- still incredibly beautiful yet more true to the faded and unwashed hues we witnessed in person.
